Grit Description
180 grit - Removes rust and other damage. 320 grit - Removes 180 grit scratches before priming. 600 grit - Sands primer down smooth. 1000 grit - Removes imperfections from clearcoat. 1500 grit - Removes 1000 grit scratch to compound by hand.
